Monday is the last day to register to vote in order to participate in the Aug. 26 municipal elections happening in many cities and towns across the state.
State law sets the registration deadline at 15 days before an election.
You can register to vote online at the secretary of state’s website.
You can also register in person at your county board of registrars.
You must be a U.S. citizen and be at least 18 on election day to be eligible to vote.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on election day. A photo ID is required to vote.
