COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Five people are facing charges in connection with a series of burglaries at a storage facility.

The Colleton County Sheriff's Office stated that the thefts occurred between July 31 and August 4, involving at least six break-ins at Monster Self Storage.

Officials estimate that $30,000 worth of property was reported stolen, some of which has been recovered by investigators.

The investigation is ongoing. Deputies are working to identify any additional suspects and to recover the remaining stolen property.
