BENTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Trials for a pair of Benton County teenagers facing rape charges have been set, according to court documents.
Landon Rhine, 17, and Elijah Jurgens, 15, both of Bella Vista, along with Bryson McLaughlin, 14, of Gravette, each face two counts of rape. All three were formally charged as adults on May 5.
The teens appeared in court on Aug. 4. The judge assigned to their cases set pretrial and trial dates for Jurgens and McLaughlin.
Pretrial hearings for Jurgens and McLaughlin were scheduled for Oct. 6, with their jury trials set to begin on Oct. 7.
Court records show an omnibus hearing in Rhine's case was scheduled for Sept. 4. Jurgens and McLaughlin have omnibus hearings on Sept. 18.
