Wes Brown has compared Leny Yoro to former Manchester United teammate Rio Ferdinand when discussing his ability with the ball at his feet.

Yoro enjoyed a solid pre-season, starting four of United's five friendlies. After starting their opening friendly against Leeds United in Stockholm on the bench, the Frenchman started all of United's games during their tour of the United States and Saturday's stalemate with Fiorentina.

Operating on the right of the back-three, Yoro showed a desire to get on the ball and help drive United up the pitch. Brown told the Manchester Evening News that Yoro's ability to stride out from the back reminds him of Ferdinand .
