AVON, Conn. (WFSB) - Residents at one Avon apartment complex are demanding change forming a union on Monday morning complaining of mold, potholes and water leaks.

Residents officially announced that they’ve formed a union, now working with the Connecticut Tenants Union as well looking for change.

A big complaint, something that hits you before you even enter any of these buildings.

Potholes here plaguing the area and ruining people’s cars.

“You all drove over the potholes to get here,” said Amy Arlin. “I paid almost $3,000 to get the struts replaced on my car.”

It’s just the first problem you see when entering the Avon Place Apartments.

Massive potholes littering the road, neighbors describing it as a landmine, but once you step inside, the issues continue.
