NORRIS LAKE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is reminding people to be extra careful on the water after responding to a severe injury on Norris Lake.
TWRA Region IV Public Information Officer Matthew Cameron said in a news release Monday that crews responded on Aug. 9 to the lake after a boating incident hurt someone.
“Witness statements and evidence suggest the victim had been kneeboarding behind a vessel when he fell into the water,” the release said. “As the operator attempted to retrieve him, the vessel’s lower unit and propeller made contact with the victim, causing severe lacerations to his leg and foot.”
