ROSEBURG, Ore. – A 23-year-old Roseburg woman died Friday morning following a two-vehicle, head-on crash in Douglas County, according to the Oregon State Police.

OSP officials said they responded shortly after 7:30 a.m. on August 8 to a two-vehicle collision on Garden Valley Road near Ridgewood Drive in Roseburg. Deputies responded along with Central Douglas Fire and Rescue and Umpqua Valley Ambulance to the scene. A 2015 Mazda 6 was traveling eastbound on Garden Valley Road when it suddenly steered sharply into the westbound lane and crashed head-on with a 2019 Toyota Tacoma, state police said.
