For the past few weeks, there’s been rollouts of the NYPD’s quality of life teams in Manhattan, the Bronx and in Brooklyn, and on Monday the “Quality of Life" teams, also known as “Q-Teams” rolled out in Queens.

The city says the Q- teams have already helped improve non-emergency call response times on average by 47 minutes.

The city says the teams have also received credit for towing at least 640 vehicles, and seizing nearly 300 illegal e-bikes, scooters and mopeds.

Mayor Eric Adams said the Q-teams have responded to more than 23,000 calls that were made to both 311 and 911.

"Right in this borough, Queens, the borough of my raising, where I was raised as a child, we’ll be seeing safer and cleaner neighborhoods thanks to our NYPD Quality of Life teams," Adams said at a news briefing.
