DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- On Logan Avenue in Middletown, people were sick to their stomachs after learning one of their neighbors had been arrested in connection with storing a body and dumping it.
James Rothenbusch and Rick Sheppard were taken into custody on Wednesday, Aug. 6 after the body of 28-year-old Brittany Marie Fuhr-Storms was found by police on Sunday.
Samantha Stevens said Sheppard was a “decent guy” when she knew him more than 10 years ago, but said you never can predict what someone on drugs can do.
One man who just moved out of a unit that shares the building with Rothenbusch said he saw a lot of foot traffic coming and going, admitting he was concerned for his family’s safety.
"Just a bunch of commotion, usually yelling, fighting,” said Joshua, who withheld his last name.
