COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – The last of four men who escaped from a minimum-security facility in south Columbus has been arrested.
Mark Long, who was wanted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for escape, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal’s Service and the sheriff’s office’s SWAT team Monday in Columbus.
Long, along with Jeremy R. Bowen, Nikko R. Burton, and Michael A. Norton, escaped from the Franklin County Community-Based Correctional Facility on the 1700 block of Alum Creek Drive on May 22 by breaking a window.
Long was the last of the alleged escapees to be captured: Bowen was recaptured on May 27, Norton on June 7, and Burton on June 13.
Long was found at a home on the 2600 block of Grasmere Avenue in the North Linden section of Columbus. He was safely taken into custody
