ORANGEBURG, S.C. - A man pleaded guilty Monday to killing his girlfriend and sparking a manhunt after taking their 5-year-old daughter.

Antar Jeter was sentenced to 30 years in prison for murder and kidnapping in a case surrounding Crystal Jumper, 46, and their daughter, Aspen Jeter.

Law enforcement asks for prayers after S.C. state trooper hit during traffic stop

Some local law enforcement agencies are asking for prayers after a South Carolina state trooper was injured in an overnight crash while conducting a traffic stop.

The case stemmed from a wellness check in Orangeburg on Thanksgiving Day 2022, where Jumper was found dead inside a home.

It was later discovered that Aspen Jeter was missing, with investigators later determining she was with her father, Antar Jeter.
