NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- In May 2026, voters in Hamilton County could see a different approach to the election process.

The Hamilton County Election Board is considering the transition to countywide vote centers. At 1 p.m. on Wednesday, the board will host a public meeting where this measure will be discussed.

The meeting will be conducted in the Hamilton County Commissioner's Courtroom on the first floor of the Hamilton County Government and Judicial Center, located at 1 N. 8th Street in Noblesville.

This comes as the county currently offers precinct-only voting for residents, giving voters the chance to vote in only one location.

The countywide vote centers approach would give Hamilton County residents the chance to cast their ballot at any of the 52 voting locations across the county. I
