INDIANAPOLIS — The names of two men killed in a pair of homicides Sunday night have been confirmed by the coroner's office.

The violence started just a few minutes before 7 p.m. Sunday when a man named Jesus Estrada was found in an alley near State Avenue and Washington Street suffering from stab wounds. The 39-year-old later died in the hospital.

Neighbors called 911 and reported hearing the victim involved in an argument, but police said on the scene that it's not clear exactly who committed the stabbing.

"We don't know any suspect information at all," said IMPD Captain Don Weilhammer. "We just know there was an argument between the victim and an individual."

So far, that homicide remains unsolved.
