OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A very busy weekend of weather has wrapped up after several rounds of storms.
Those included two separate rounds with winds that topped 80 miles per hour.
The first moved through the area early Saturday morning, bringing gusts up to 87 mph in the metro between 5 AM and 7 AM. Reports of gusts between 70 and 90 mph stretched from south of York all the way into Monona County.
A second round moved through Saturday night south of the metro with gusts up to 90 mph reported in Nebraska City and damage stretching from Tecumseh east into southwest Iowa.
A third round of storms wasn’t nearly as strong but brought more heavy rain to the Blair area.
Between the three rounds, rain totals there exceeded six inches.
