RAWALPINDI:
A man allegedly killed his father and two sisters over a property dispute in a brutal stabbing spree that began in Islamabad and ended in Rawalpindi, also injuring his three-month-old nephew. Police have arrested the suspect, 27-year-old Muhammad Ali, and recovered the murder weapon.
According to police, the suspect first attacked his family at their home near Taramri Chowk, Islamabad, killing his 70-year-old father, Mahmood Hussain, and 32-year-old sister, Shabnam Ara.
He then locked the house from outside and travelled to Adiala Road, Rawalpindi, where he fatally stabbed his elder sister, 35-year-old Anjum Ara — an employee of a federal government department currently on maternity leave — and injured her infant son, Salar.
