MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas State is ranked 17th in the preseason Associated Press college football poll, which was released Monday morning.
The Wildcats are coming off a 9-4 record in 2024.
They take on the Iowa State Cyclones, ranked 22nd in the preseason poll, at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, in Dublin, Ireland. The game will be televised on ESPN.
In addition to Kansas State and Iowa State, two other Big 12 teams are ranked in the preseason poll. Arizona State comes in at No. 11, while Texas Tech checks in at No. 23.
Topping the preseason AP Top 25 at No. 1 were the Texas Longhorns, followed by Penn State at No. 2, Ohio State at No. 3, Clemson at No. 4 and Georgia at No. 5.
