WASHINGTON — Is Taylor Swift going to announce new music? Her fans certainly think so.

On Monday evening, the pop superstar's website was updated with a countdown to 12:12 a.m. on August 12, hours after rumors about the possible music announcement swelled when Taylor Nation, the singer's marketing and public relations team, posted 12 photos of the "Midnights" singer donning orange outfits from her Eras Tour.

Swift's newest album would be her 12th.

"Thinking about when she said 'See you next era…" the caption read along with a burning heart emoji.

Though the caption may seem cryptic, Swift is known for dropping easter eggs and hints for her fans. The post also comes just as Travis and Jason Kelce's "New Heights" podcast teased a special guest on this week's episode.
