BEMIDJI — The Bemidji State volleyball team was voted to finish 13th by league coaches in the 2025 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Volleyball Preseason Coaches’ Poll, announced by the league Monday morning.

Bemidji State sophomore middle blocker/utility Ava Athman was tabbed as the Beavers’ Preseason Player to Watch.

“Bemidji State is going to look a lot different this season after graduating several key starters,” said head coach Erika Bute in a release. “We have 15 underclassmen on the roster, and they bring a ton of energy and eagerness to improve. At the same time, we’re anchored by three strong senior leaders who set the tone and provide valuable experience.
