LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man found dead in a downtown Los Angeles hotel on Aug. 4.

The person is believed to be between the ages of 25-30.

The examiner’s office describes him as “being found deceased in an apartment at 423 E. 7th St. He may be named ‘James’. He had no personal possessions on him.”

The address matches the location of the Madison Hotel, which is a 220-unit single room occupancy (SRO) building with shared communal bathrooms.
