BULLOCH COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - A tennis supervisor that worked at the Mill Creek Recreational Park at the tennis complex has now been fired after facing multiple charges of sexual battery.

An arrest warrant obtained by WTOC says that Barron Gillis was booked into the Bulloch County Jail on July 22nd on two charges of sexual battery.

According to the report, Gillis was a tennis supervisor at Mill Creek Tennis Complex owned by the Bulloch Parks and Recreation Department.

This is a complex that offers youth tennis lessons and camps.

WTOC reached out to the department which sent this statement saying that they quote, “terminated Barron Gillis on July 18 for reported violations of the County’s personnel handbook involving inappropriate conduct and sexual harassment.”
