ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The family of an Orangeburg mother gunned down in her own home in 2022 says they are relieved by the guilty plea and sentencing of her accused killer.

Antar Jeter was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to the murder of 46-year-old Crystal Jumper, attorney Justin Bamberg, who represents Jumper’s family, said.

Jumper was found shot to death in her home on Nov. 25, 2022.

“Although nothing can bring Ms. Jumper back to them, her family is thankful that Antar Jeter accepted responsibility and spared the family of having to relive the pain and anguish they’ve experienced over the past three years,” Bamberg said in a statement on Monday.
