BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - A Ridgeville woman who is charged with murder had a bond hearing on Monday in Goose Creek.

Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Alexis Dakota Davidson on Jan. 10 for the death of a man, Jamal Edmonson, who was found shot inside a car.

After Davidson’s attorney shared their statement, Judge Bryan Doby said he will take that along with the evidence presented in today’s hearing under consideration in order to make a decision on the bond.

They asked for a surety bond with GPS monitoring, which allows Davidson to not be in jail until trial.

Davidson is not the only one with charges in this case; her ex-boyfriend, Timothy Creel, who is also the father of one of her children, is the co-defendant, but today’s hearing did not involve him.
