BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - It’s been almost three years since a man was charged with the murder of 17-year-old Sir James Robinson.

On Monday, Auquan Grier and his attorney made the motion to reconsider his bond.

Berkeley County Judge Bryan Doby denied the request for bond, marking the fourth time Grier’s bond has been denied since he was arrested in October 2022.

Grier is charged with one count of murder, four counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and distribution of marijuana.

These charges stem back to Sept. 22, 2022, when Robinson was shot and killed during an exchange at a Goose Creek Taco Bell.
