INDIANAPOLIS — An 18-year-old woman is facing attempted murder charges after a stabbing incident over the weekend.

The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office said officers responded to a report of multiple people stabbed at a home in Geneva Township on Sunday, Aug. 10.

Police said when they arrived on scene, they found several victims suffering from "serious injuries." Three victims were treated, and two of them were airlifted to trauma centers for additional care.

The suspect was arrested on scene and charged with two counts of attempted murder.

She is currently being held without bond at the Jennings County Jail, pending her initial hearing in Jennings County Circuit Court.
