ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. — Orangeburg County Coroner Sean Fogle has identified the woman killed in a crash on Interstate 95 northbound at Mile Marker 95 in Santee.

The crash happened Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, when a 2016 Honda sedan collided head-on with a 2014 Ford pickup truck that was heading south in the northbound lanes.

Officials said the drivers of the Honda and Ford were taken to a local hospital. A passenger in the Honda ultimately died.

The victim, Linda Ross, 70, of Hillside Drive in Orlando, Florida, died from blunt force injuries sustained in the collision, according to Fogle. Ross was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
