OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. —

The man who caused thousands of dollars in damage to a Holland Walmart in March will spend nearly three years in prison for the crime.

Gavin Love, 25, pleaded guilty to the rampage, which broke countless TVs and glass doors, while shoppers were inside the department store during a Friday afternoon rush.

Ottawa County Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jake Jenison asked the judge for a heavier sentence than what was recommended.
