COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified a motorcyclist who died in a crash on July 19 in Colorado Springs.

The Colorado Springs Police Department said officers responded to a single-vehicle crash just before 11 p.m. at the 4100 block of Drennan Road near Springnite Drive.

Police say they learned at the scene that a single motorcycle had crashed and the rider was ejected from the vehicle.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.

According to police, an investigation determined that the motorcycle was traveling at a high speed when it failed to navigate a roundabout and crashed.

The El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified the motorcyclist as 27-year-old Johnny Givens.
