COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A man who died in a motorcycle crash on July 27 has been identified.

The Colorado Springs Police Department said officers responded to a crash around 7:18 p.m. near North Weber Street and East Bijou Street.

Police said they learned the motorcycle had turned left from westbound Platte Avenue and was heading south on North Weber Street. They say the rider lost control, and the motorcycle tipped over on Weber Street.

According to officers, two people were on the motorcycle at the time of the crash. They say the rider was in critical condition, and the passenger was in stable condition.

Both were taken to a hospital. According to police, neither motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
