COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - On Monday, new court documents released in the case of the Colorado State Patrol trooper, Brandon Stevens, who is accused of domestic violence, say he admitted to it.

Arrest papers say Almosa Police, after questioning the victim, were told she was strangled by Stevens after an argument. Police described the woman as “shaken up” during the incident and saw marks on her neck.

In the documents, the woman says Stevens told her he hated her during the argument and that this is not the first time he has hit her. Brandon admitted to police that they had an argument and “went at it.”

27-year-old Brandon Stevens joined the Colorado State Patrol in April 2023 and is accused of second-degree assault and domestic violence.
