Davon Nathaniel Jones’s appeal denied; court finds no error in trial evidence or jury instructions.

The Indiana Court of Appeals today affirmed the murder and armed robbery convictions of Davon Nathaniel Jones, who was found guilty in the 2022 fatal shooting of Amarion Holmes in Hammond.

The appellate court’s decision, authored by Senior Judge Crone, dismissed Jones’s claims that the trial court made errors in admitting certain evidence and instructing the jury on accomplice liability. Chief Judge Altice and Judge Bailey concurred with the opinion.
