Hundreds of cases of sugar cookies sold at Target have been recalled for the potential contamination of a "foreign material (wood)."
The notice was posted on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s website .

The Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies were voluntarily recalled by Give and Go Prepared Food Corp. on July 22.
According to the recall, 803 cases, with 15 units per case, were recalled due to potential contamination of wood.
The cookies have the UPC number 85239-41250 3 and are part of Lot 25195. The recall said the Best By Date can vary, as they are applied by the retailer when they are removed from the freezer.
So far, no illnesses have been reported, according to the notice.
