SPRINGFIELD, Ore. - The Springfield Police Department is actively investigating multiple sex abuse cases linked to a local man.

According to the Springfield Police Department, Ransom Gee, a 28-year-old male from Springfield, has been arrested following reports of him forcing sexual encounters on females between June 2 and July 11.

Gee is facing several charges, including Sex Abuse I and Sodomy I, under case number 25-4828, and Attempted Rape I and Sex Abuse I, under case number 25-4909.

Detectives continue to investigate similar allegations reported since Gee's arrest. Authorities urge anyone with information about these incidents or other similar cases involving Gee to contact the Springfield Police Department at 541-726-3721.
