DECATUR, Ill. (WAND)- A man accused of trying to sexually assault a woman at a Decatur grocery store will undergo a mental evaluation to determine if he's fit to stand trial. Decatur police arrested Kerion Overstreet, 26, on July 30. According to a sworn statement of his arrest, Overstreet approached a woman from behind at the Save-A-Lot store on East William Street and wrapped his arms around her. The woman told Overstreet to get off of her, police said, and realized she didn't recognize him before continuing to walk through the store. Police said surveillance footage showed Overstreet approaching the woman from behind again; this time throwing her to the ground and throwing himself on top of her.
