LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln North Star has qualified for the NSAA Class A Playoffs in each of the last two years. This fall, the Navigators hope to win in the post-season.

Lincoln North Star suffered a heart-breaking loss in the first round at Bellevue West in 2024. Several players return from that team, including two-way star Tyrell Chatman. The Iowa State commit is entering his senior year and ranks among the top players in the state.

Chatman had a breakout season in 2024 in which he totaled 11 touchdown on offense. Defensively, the 3-star recruit recorded 37 tackles and four interceptions.

Lincoln North Star opens the 2025 season at Seacrest Field on August 29th against Lincoln Southwest. Strangely, that marks the only intracity game on the Navigators schedule this fall.
