Friendly’s has issued a voluntary recall for one variety of its ice cream due to a labeling mixup."

The recall by DFA Dairy Brands, LLC includes 324 cartons of Friendly’s 48 fluid ounce Cookies & Cream ice cream on Aug. 5, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The ice cream was packaged in a Friendly’s Vanilla Bean carton but had a Friendly’s Cookies & Cream ice cream lid.

The vanilla ice cream carton does not list soy and wheat as ingredients, which could be harmful to people with allergies.

The ice cream has a best-by date of Nov. 26, 2025, and was distributed to stores in Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania.

There have been no reports of illnesses associated with this recall.
