WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA) - U.S. Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind) took time during a Monday visit to Whitley County to share his thoughts on issues that have been making headlines recently.

The senator shared his support for Indiana’s role in the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations, specifically, the state agreeing to house a 1,000-bed detention center nicknamed “The Speedway Slammer” by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
