BATH, N.Y. (WENY) — As the summer fair season continues, Monday, August 11, marked the first day of the 206th Annual Steuben County Fair in Bath. The week is filled with events from livestock shows to grandstand events.
The first day of the fair was all about the animals. Farmers and caretakers were seen bringing their sheep, goat, horses, and other animals into the fair all day.
The Steuben County fair features all the modern events of a fair, including carnival rides and a monster truck show. But the fair is still grounded in its roots.
