A dramatic lightning strike in South Carolina was captured on video by an officer’s dashcam.

The Mount Pleasant Police Department cruiser and other motorists driving on Highway 17 caught a glimpse of what looked like a scene from an action movie on Monday when the lightning bolt struck a utility pole, causing a roadside fire ball to erupt and power lines to spark.

No injuries were reported, but the incident knocked down power lines and caused outages in the area. Highway traffic was closed in both directions for several hours, NBC affiliate WCBD in Charleston reported .
