A 25-year-old man pleaded guilty to one count of voluntary manslaughter in Johnson County court Monday in the March 29 shooting death of 21-year-old Landen Roggenkamp, according to a press release from Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe.

Armando Javier Guerrero will be sentenced on Sept. 25, Howe said.

Dispatchers received a call around 10 p.m. March 29 requesting officers in the 1400 block of East Mart-Way Circle, Olathe Police Department Sgt. John Moncayo previously told The Star.

Officers found Roggenkamp with multiple wounds, Moncayo said. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died.

A GoFundMe created for Roggenkamp described the man as “an incredible person taken too soon.”
