LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- New attorneys for the man accused of orchestrating the murder of Tupac Shakur tell the 8 News Now Investigators their client was not involved and his public statements should not be believed.
In September 2023, a Clark County grand jury indicted Duane “Keffe D” Davis, 62, on a murder charge for the rap icon's 1996 shooting death. Davis has remained in custody since his arrest.
Attorney Carl Arnold began working with Davis in January 2024. Last week, Davis retained Robert Draskovich and Michael Pandullo as his new attorneys, they said Monday in an exclusive interview.
“We anticipate presenting a competing narrative and a more truthful narrative concerning those events of September 1996,” Draskovich said. “Our client was not involved in the shooting.”
