LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - A woman was hospitalized after a crash Monday, August 11, according to Lynchburg Police.
Lynchburg Police and Lynchburg Fire responded at 6:14 p.m. to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the northbound lane of U.S. 501 Extension before Lakeside Dr.
Police say the woman veered off the roadway for unknown reasons.
Lynchburg Fire removed the woman from the vehicle, according to police. The woman was transported to Lynchburg General Hospital, where she was in critical condition but has been upgraded to stable condition, according to police.
The woman was identified as 23-year-old Faith Destiny Reed of Lynchburg.
