TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple Independent School District Board of Trustees has approved two propositions to be included on the November ballot, the district has announced.

The two proposals will appear on the ballot as Proposition A and Proposition B, and will address school security needs and additional classrooms respectively, according to Temple ISD.

The two proposals were unanimously approved by the Board during a meeting on Monday, Aug. 11, the district said.

According to Temple ISD, Propositions A and B were developed based on state legislative requirements for safety and security, continued growth in the district and feedback from a series of meeting with parents, business leaders, spiritual leaders, and various community groups.
