ASHLAND, Ohio — At 86 years old, Kim Knor is defying every expectation about aging. Last weekend at AerOhio Skydiving in Ashland, she made her 906th skydive, bringing her closer to a goal that began more than 60 years ago.
Knor is on what she calls her "Rush for the Gold" -- a mission to reach 1,000 jumps and earn her coveted Gold Wings from the United States Parachute Association. It's a dream that started when she was just 20 years old.

Knor's passion for flight began early, inspired by her uncle who returned from Navy pilot training after World War II.
