DEXTER, MI – A familiar face in Dexter Community Schools will be learning the ropes over the next few months before assuming the role as district superintendent early next year.
Members of the Dexter School Board tapped Ryan Bruder, DCS’ executive director of instruction, last month from a slate of internal candidates to replace outgoing Superintendent Chris Timmis.
On Monday, Aug. 11, the board signed off on two contracts for Bruder to make it official — one taking immediate effect for his role as an assistant superintendent through next February and another for superintendent with a term starting March 1.
