BALTIMORE — A man died after six people, including a 5-year-old girl, were shot in Baltimore on Saturday, according to police.

Police were called to the area of Spaulding and Queensbury avenues in northwestern Baltimore around 8:46 p.m. ET, a Baltimore Police Department Commissioner Richard Worley said during a press conference.

Six people were found injured and taken to the hospital, consisting of two females and four males. A 38-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition and pronounced dead the next morning.

Police say the 5-year-old girl was shot in the hand and the other victims, a 23-year-old woman, a 32-year-old man, a 33-year-old man and a 52-year-old man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
