QUINCY (WGEM) - Time is running out to get tickets to a celebration that’s 200 years in the making.
There were “Good Vibrations” at Monday morning’s Adams County Bicentennial finale press conference.
Bicentennial Commission Chairman Chuck Scholz and Bicentennial Finale Co-Chair Mark Peter spoke on why people from the surrounding area, not just Adams County, should “Catch a Wave” and come out to the Adams County Bicentennial Finale Celebration on Sept. 6 at the Adams County Fairgrounds.
“It’s not just an Adams County thing,” said Scholz. “Everybody in your WGEM viewing area is welcome, we encourage you to come, you’ll never be able to see a group like this for this cost and then have all the free activities at the fairgrounds.”
