DENVER (KDVR) — Of all the unforgettable moments Paige Skinner caught on camera with her mom Bonnie over the years, there's one cell phone video that just won't stop replaying in her mind.

"I'm going to be your angel," Bonnie Skinner said to her daughter on the short video clip.

"My guardian angel?" Paige asked.

"Yeah. I'm going to be with you," her mom replied.

The poignant message from mom to daughter now seems prophetic, after the machete attack that happened at their family home in Brighton that life-shattering night five years ago.
