CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The Oak Hill Jackson Neighborhood Association focused on last week’s shooting during its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, discussing its impact on the neighborhood.

Neighbors gathered at the Linn County Public Health building to process the shooting together. Representatives from the nonprofit Foundation 2 were on hand to support people discussing that terrifying evening.

“I’m just grateful that everybody moved fast and thankful for the police department for how quickly they stepped in,” said one neighbor.
