BLACKSTONE, Mass. (WPRI) — Police in Blackstone, Massachusetts are investigating after a North Providence man was seriously injured in a crash Sunday night.
Fire officials responded to Main Street just before 10 p.m. for reports of a car that had struck a tree. When they arrived, crews found a Honda CR-V on top of an unoccupied Jeep SUV parked in a nearby driveway.

The driver, a 63-year-old North Providence man, had to be extricated from the Honda—a process Blackstone Fire Chief Kevin Roy said took about 25 minutes.
