BREATHITT COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - In July, many folks were concerned about the future of the free roaming horses in Breathitt County.

After a meeting, the Breathitt County Fiscal court reportedly gave approval to remove the stray horses. This leaves folks more than one month later still concerned about where the animals will go.

After an extended period of debate on whether the horses were a nuisance or a county treasure, the Appalachian Horse Project said their efforts fell short.
